ADA Snowy River & Errinundra National Parks
Limited Edition Comparative Plaque Set
Officially opened to recreational deer hunting on Sunday 15th February 2026.
Sunday 15th February 2026 marked a milestone moment for deer hunters, with Snowy River and Errinundra National Parks officially opening to legal recreational deer hunting — unlocking more than 320,000 acres of National Park for seasonal access.
Following the Victorian Government’s announcement in mid-2025 and the successful passage of amendments to the National Parks Act, this historic reform is now a reality.
This outcome follows years of sustained advocacy by the Australian Deer Association and represents one of the most significant public land access victories for hunters in recent history.
To commemorate this achievement, the ADA has released a Limited Edition Comparative Plaque Set featuring Snowy River and Errinundra National Parks — a lasting tribute to the fight, the reform, and the future of public land hunting.
